The Two Faces of The Iibada Dance Company
The Iibada Training Academy
Classes designed to teach youth the fundamentals of dance. Courses are held weekly and at 9:30am and 10:30am every Saturday morning at Broadway United Methodist Church (3rd Floor) 609 E. 29th Street / Indianapolis, Indiana 46219. Training sessions are scheduled in 12-week blocks. Classes are $15 per session and there is a one-time registration fee of $25.
The Iibada Performing Company
A group of dancers who have grasped the basics of dance and are ready to be challenged by teachers and choreographers. This will help prepare students with knowledge and experience in the performing arts arena. Those interested in becoming a member of the Iibada Dance Company will be asked to audition. Once a member, students are able to perform in Iibada’s annual production, as well as special events for local organizations like Indiana Black Expo, Circle City Classic, Madame Walker Theatre, the Pike Performing Arts Center, Connor Prairie, The Children’s Museum, the Arts Garden, and the Indiana Pacers.
