Dare To Dance Community Projects
The Dare to Dance Community Project is our intentional push to provide cultural dance and arts workshops for Indianapolis and surrounding communities. These workshop events are called “The Cultural Dance Workshop Series”. Our workshops will celebrate artistic expression that is inclusive and representative of all cultures residing within our targeted communities. These workshops will also collaborate and highlight cultural arts organizations within Indianapolis and bring them to surrounding townships and counties for families and communities to enjoy.

The cultural landscape of Indianapolis is changing and we want to ensure every community is representative of those residing in them. What better way to bring the community together to learn from one another and have fun doing it.
Artist Support
There are so any talented dance artist here in our amazing city. We want Indianapolis to become a place where artist can thrive. Our workshops will become and essential platform for emerging dance artist to gain both experience and support within their careers.
Cultural Organization Support
Like our artists, we want to create a culture of both support and awareness of the phenomenal cultural dance organizations residing right here in Indianapolis. The workshop series will also serve as an community awareness tool for various communities to learn of artistic resources that are available locally.

Workshops kick off May 2023. Our team will be announce our full schedule August 1, 2023. iibada Dance Company is thankful to the Indianapolis Foundation for providing us the support to host 14 workshops from May 2023 to April of 2024. Each workshop will be determined by age and skill level. The majority of our workshops are for the entire family! However, participants should pay close attention to the workshop description prior to signing up as our featured artist and instructors may require age restrictions and specific skill levels to attend. Youth can attend workshops starting at age 8. We are so excited to partner with Epiphany Dance Collective, Bollywood Beats Indy and many more to provide these amazing cultural dance workshops to Indianapolis.
